Quisqueya Verde: Sustainable Development in the Dominican Republic is a research thesis used to fulfill my Bachelor of Arts in Critical and Visual Studies at Pratt Institute.

The Dominican Republic is analyzed through its environmental policy and conservation efforts and the idea of eco-tourism and its initiatives is explored. This thesis focuses on the potential of eco-tourism to be the first steps towards promoting further sustainable development in the island-nation.
