Gaias: Rooftop Tapas Bar

Gaias Rooftop Tapas Bar is a bar in the southern town of Bani in the Dominican Republic overlooking the central square and the mountains. Biophilic design was applied in the design of the bar with the use of local wood and native drought-tolerant vegetation for decor. Birds and plants add to the biophilia of the site.

The overall style of the rooftop bar is eco-chic with small doses of industrial and with a Greek mythology overarching theme. Gaia in Greek mythology is the Goddess and personification of Earth and mother of all the Gods.
